Los Angeles Surf Forecast – A few rideable ones starting to show

The Swell
New NW swell (290-300) and some building local WNW windswell will fill in slowly through the morning and continue to increase through the afternoon.

Waves
NW facing spots, mostly through the South Bay, will see a slight pickup through the morning. Average spots will be around knee-waist high while the top NW/windswell spots see some waist-high and inconsistent chest high sets. Shape won’t be the greatest thanks the sort of gutless nature of the windswell and the building morning tide…still it will be more surfable than the last couple of days. S-SW facing spots will remain small to almost flat.

Winds
Light and variable winds will be on tap through the morning. Expect a few pockets of texture as you move closer to Ventura County. NW winds around 10-15 knots will build through by the afternoon.

Los Angeles Tides
12:09AM LST 3.6 H
04:02AM LST 2.8 L
10:33AM LST 6.1 H
06:19PM LST -0.4 L
