Los Angeles Surf Forecast – Tuesday – Fading out…but still a few nuggets

The Swell
Our NW swell (285-300) swell mix will continue to fade slowly on Tuesday along with the weaker SW swell (200-220). There will still be a few playful waves at the best exposed breaks but expect size and consistency to continue to drop as we head towards the end of the day.

Waves
Look for the average breaks to have surf in the knee-waist high range…mostly at the SW facing breaks. The average NW facing spots will be a bit more in the waist-chest high range. Top NW facing breaks, and the best combo spots, will be in the chest-shoulder high range through the morning, maybe with a couple of rare bigger sets on the low tide.

Winds
Mostly light and variable to light offshore winds on tap in the morning. W-WNW winds 10-12 knots move in through the afternoon.
