Los Angeles Surf Forecast – Monday – Clean with a few weak (but rideable) lines

The Swell
We will have a mix of small WNW-NW windswell, some weak SW swell (190-210), and some new, but background, NW swell (295-300) from a little further out in the NPAC.

Waves
The high tide continues to be a problem through the morning…but winds and weather should cooperate long enough to give us a few glassy ones as the tide drops. Average spots can expect surf in the knee high+ range on inconsistent sets. Standout combo spots, mostly the NW facing ones, will be in the knee-waist high range with a few rare chest high sets showing as the tide backs down.

Winds
Light offshore to light and variable winds on tap through the morning and W-WNW winds around 10-12 knots for the afternoon. Looks clean through the first half of the day.
