Los Angeles Surf Forecast – Wednesday – NW leftovers and fading SW’er

The Swell
The swell mix continues to dwindle away on Wednesday as the NW swell (290-300) backs off and the smaller, less consistent SW swell (200-220) begins to drop off as well.

Waves
Average spots, both NW and SW facing breaks, will be in the knee-thigh high range on Wednesday…though there may be a few inconsistent waist high sets at the better combo spots. Top NW facing breaks in the South Bay will be more consistently around waist high, with a couple of chest high peaks coming through at the more northerly part of the area.

Winds
Mostly light and variable to light offshore winds on tap in the morning. W-WNW winds 10-12 knots move in through the afternoon.
