Los Angeles Surf Forecast – Not much out there

The Swell
The last of the NW energy (295-300) will drop off on Thursday while a small and inconsistent SW pulse (200-220) continues to put little shorebreak lappers into the best exposed breaks.

Waves
Average spots will be flat to ankle high…maybe a rare knee high set at times…but basically shorebreak through most of the morning as the 6.4’ high-tide hits its peak. Top NW combo spots will be slightly bigger in the knee to inconsistent thigh high range but will suffer the same tidal issues we see everywhere else.

Winds
Light and variable winds will be on tap through the morning. Expect a few pockets of texture if the fog hangs around. W-SSW winds in the 10-12 knot range will build in through the afternoon.

Los Angeles Tides
03:19AM LST 2.5 L
09:45AM LST 6.4 H
05:19PM LST -0.6 L
