Los Angeles Surf Forecast - for Friday - 2/19/2010

Mostly weak waves on Friday morning…average spots holding around ankle-knee high with a few waist high sets sneaking into the top spots.

By the afternoon we might see a few new lines starting to sneak through but it won’t get all that big before the sun goes down. Looks like mostly waist-chest high+ surf at the South Bay standouts before dark.

Winds will be S-SE around 8-12 knots for the morning and it looks like scattered showers moving in pretty fast as well. Look for SW wind around 10-20 knots by the afternoon and periods of heavy rain.
