Los Angeles Surf Forecast - for Thursday - 2/18/2010

Fading WNW-NW swell and some weak SW energy will keep a few fun waves showing at the exposed breaks on Thursday. North County spots look pretty small…mostly knee high with some waist-chest high sets at the best N. LA breaks.

South Bay spots will be more in the waist-chest high range with some shoulder high sets…though the bigger waves will get less consistent as we move through the day.

Winds look good…mostly light and variable to light offshore for the morning. NW winds around 10-14 knots move in through the afternoon.
