Los Angeles Surf Forecast - for Wednesday - 2/10/2010

More rain, some building onshore winds, and dropping swell won’t make for much in the way of surfable shape on Wednesday…the high morning tide isn’t going to help all that much either. Sizewise look for the average W-WNW facing spots to hold around waist-chest high…while the standout NW spots, mostly down through the South Bay, will see chest-shoulder high surf with some head high sets still showing as the tide drops.

Winds aren’t going to be super helpful but there will be some semi-clean conditions early…and there will continue to be some rain moving in throughout the morning as well. Look for light/variable to variable-onshore flow for the morning. NW winds 10-20 knots will develop through the afternoon.
