Los Angeles Surf Forecast - for Thursday - 2/4/2010

North County breaks will continue to be on the smaller side on Thursday…with the average WNW facing spots along that stretch of coast seeing knee-waist high waves with some less consistent chest-shoulder high sets.

South Bay breaks will be more in the shoulder-head high range with some head high+ sets still sneaking through on the morning tide push.

Expect both regions to see smaller and less consistent surf as the swell mix fades through the afternoon.

Winds look good with mostly light and variable to light offshore flow early on. W winds 10-15 knots will build onshore in the afternoon.
